You win the matzoh cookie ^^^

Just six days there -- not so bad when put into context ...

Although I don't advise anyone who considers food to be one of the great pleasures of life going to BI during Passover

(Must plan my emergencies better )

Did anyone know that there is a cold matzoh cereal that looks like Trix -- but has the taste and consistency of cardboard sprinkled with cinnamon?

If not, you're not missing a thing ...

That's ^^^ because I was making all the noise up at BI

    What happened?

Just an unexpected visit last Saturday afternoon from the grim guy in black ...

But with the help of a friend (and a superb team of professionals) we sent him on his merry way.

    Wasn't going there ...

Didn't want to. Not my time

(Even though I knew I had a genetic predisposition for such an episode I mistakenly thought any first occurence wouldn't take place this early in my life. All my fellow travelers at BI seemed to be a good 20+ years older than I am. But now we're all lifetime members of the same club.)

After all the excitement I ended up with some very cool high tech stuff ...

Which ^^^ I will carry with me forever and ever ...

Now I'm back at home and doing very well. Took a nice 2-hour walk this afternoon. Sleeping well. But have to stay away from many of my favorite green leafy vegetables -- which I've been warned against for now ...

Lots more to learn in the coming days.

Funny how life smacks you up the side of the head sometimes, eh?

I figured you were having less fun than a week-long bender, but this is some serious stuff. Take care of yourself and get well.

I hope the disturbing pattern of bad things happening to valued members of this forum doesn't spread. I'm really relieved to hear that you're OK, Lofter. Take care.

Wow! I am so glad you are okay. I feel like I've unwittingly passed the little black cloud to you as I posted how much better I felt while you were gone. Yikes.

Welcome back with lots of hearfelt affection.

    Check your PM.

You have to go with your gut sometimes Loft, not BECAUSE of it!

You have become officially "Wired" New York.

Funny how life smacks you up the side of the head sometimes, eh?
It looks like life did not choose your head on this one Loft (I could expand the pun to my own particular life-death experience, but I thnik that would just evoke "The curse of WNY")

Stay healthy, and listen to what they say about health/fitness/etc now will ya? Please do not let us fall prey to the whimsical postings of your sworn arch rivals!!!
