I'm just curious. There are all of these pop culture references to stuff like Game of Thrones, which I never even heard of until recently.

Although on previous pages there were complaints about height and looks (concrete colored exterior), most of us will only see it from a distance and soon there will be all those towers on West 57th that will help take our eyes off of 432.

That's why I say this building will be a 1300 feet of filler.

Well it's 1400 ft., and I doubt it will ever be "filler" in our lifetimes. It will always be a very tall building.

Sherpa, dude, you bring up such a great point; considering its lamentful prominence we should be able to easily visually track this POS overall occupation at a given time. I suspect the oligarchy will not exactly contribute to this buildings night illumination and its gonna be pretty dark as they will be frolicking around in other places in the world most of the year.

All its gng to do is be an obstrusive reminder of what these architect/developer's (CIM properties, Macklowe, Vinoly) INDOLENT minds looks like; but what is worse it will get in the way of much more presentable and elegant buildings that understand the importance of their height prominence on the city's signature skyline.

This tower is now very visible from Chrystie Street south of Houston. Rising tall and proud. Looks good from down this way.

I agree. It's too tall already, and yet, it has 400 more feet to go.

If it has the little hat like it does now when completed, it would look better.

Even a little tweak at the top improves the Dreck:
