I am looking forward to seeing some 'real' photography of this building: I hope you, and some of the other intrepid WNY members find your way to the upper levels of the parking garage next to the site - perfect vantage point to shoot this new tower being built. I have only smart phone pics: will post today.

It is easy to access this location in the parking garage to get a good view of all the construction activity: just enter through the lobby, take the elevator to the 3rd, 4th or 5th floors - then walk west to the overview ledge.

Ha! That's how I feel. Now if we can vaporize that garage.

That's what I was thinking. The crappy brown building must go. I suspect that it will still look like crap with the new facade.

Based on the rendering, this looks like a great glass building that's just in a bad spot. Meanwhile there is no escaping the concrete smoke stack in Midtown.

Is it an illusion or are some of those columns leaning?

They are. There is a tilt at the base.

What's going on with the building nextdoor? A white reclad?

The reinforced concrete superstructure is moving quickly: particularly since they are working with those irregular forms. Those photos taken by tectonic from the garage give a real good up close look at the process: I am just fascinated by photos of buildings' under construction.

This is a jewel between two pieces of junk: the horrible garage and that gross, brown rental.
