Merci. Thank God that Grand Central escaped the "everything old is bad" trend of the 50/60's, and it wasn't burrowed underground a la Penn Station in the pursuit of air rights $$$$. Just look at the layout of the terminal...practical simplicity despite the grandeur. Form equals function. Compare this to the squalor & mess under MSG.

Thank Jackie Kennedy for that because it was on the way to be destroyed
