When I lived in Brooklyn there was a nightclub in that handsome corner building and it was a great space inside. Thanks for bringing back some cool memories; I wonder if it's still a club.

Whenever I look at photos like these, it amazes me to think of how dense New York already was back then, and how it has only continued to get denser and denser.

What a change the subway cars have gone through from being graffiti covered to clean like they are now (well, a lot of them anyway).

Yeah, the 70's & 80's were the heydey of NYC graffiti "artists" (though many would call them other less distinguished names).
