I just did exactly what Obama didn't want me to do - took my tax refund and went and spent it in China.
My clunker is too old to qualify for the program. Government at it's best....

I found out today that buying replacement ink
for my HP printer, costs MORE than buying a new HP printer
(same model) with the ink included
So buy the printer, take out the ink and sell the printer.

There are also stores that will refill your cartridges, but they are not "officially supported" by the mfr.....
I remember hearing about a guy who buys the printer for the ink, then donates the printer itself to charity and takes the write-off, thus defraying his cost.

Ninjahedge-I buy the real HP ink because it's archivic (thus the high cost).
Generic ink won't cut it for most of my intended use- but good to know!
