Oye vey... my band will be playing for MTV next week!
MTV and ourstage.com had a "Best Breakout Artist Boston" competition, and we, along with two other bands, won the opportunity (out of around 150 Boston acts total) to compete before MTV for some airtime during the Video Music Awards on their MTV2 channel. I don't know for how long they'd show us or whatever else might result, but this is potentially a very big deal!!
Also, my band will be in town September 12th to play at the Sugar Bar on W 72nd street. Owned by the Motown hitmakers Ashford & Simpson, we played there back in June and rocked their socks off. They want us back, and I'd love for some WNYers to come out and support us!
