I answer the phone by wiseing off to strangers.
Often, I use my most professional phone voice and instead of saying hello, I say "Answering the phone. Can you help me???".
I just did exactly that a few minutes ago...

Sometimes I say "This is a recording, please leave a message at the beep". Then I wait a few heartbeats and say "Beep" in a deep voice...

Nature has a sense of humor when you think about it. Take animals for example: a bird, a fox, a deer, a rabbit spend their whole lives running away from prey. They run away until they get too old and can no longer out run the nutrition-inspired impulses of their assasins. In all essense, and consequently, spend their existence marinating themselves for their prey.

Lol, makes you think. If everything is just prey for something bigger/stronger/smarter, what the hell are we and who's waiting to take advantage?

Bacteria (an astute observation made by my girl at the time I brought up the same question). Once our body looses its chemical equilibrium it stops producing ATP and due to a lack of energy production our immune system shuts down; while at the same time bacteria is tucking a napkin in its collar salivating enzymes.
