Respondo unas preguntas que llegaron estos últimos días y listo papeles...
Okay, you're in charge here...
I'm going to answer messages sent to me in recent weeks:
Q: "My older brother told me about a nightclub in the Gran Via avenue, what do you know?"" Mi hermano mayor me contó que había una sala de fiestas en la Gran Vía ¿ qué sabes ?"
A: In the late 70's was opened a disco-nightclub so called Scala-Murcia in the Conver building at Gran Via avenue. It was a franchise of the famous Barcelona's nightclub destroyed in a terrorist attack by anarchist militants in January 15th, 1978.

Q: Was there any art exhibition hall of Municipality of Murcia before opening the Almudí Palace ?Supongo que antes de abrir el Almudí habría algun sitio para las exposiciones de arte en la ciudad. Dónde las montaban ?
A: Yes indeed, it was sited in Santa Isabel square. There was a low rise building on the square, shaped of a glass container, with an infantile library and an art exhibition hall. The cultural centre was designed by municipal architect Daniel Carbonell Ruiz.

And private ?
At Gran Via avenue during the 70's ?
I remember a private gallery, sited on a mezzanine floor on the Cortefiel building, inagurated by painter Manuel Avellaneda in 1976. It was a art exhibition center in Gran Via's zone during the mid 70's.

Who did design the MURPRISA building in Santa Isabel Square ?
MURPRISA ? Must be a mistake. Perhaps you meant MONTISA. It was designed by architect Mariano Ruipérez Abizanda.
Sorry. Who did design the Salzillo Museum ?
The Salzillo Museum was designed by architect José Tamés Alarcón in 1950. The construction stage started in 1953 and completed in 1959. On the implementing of the project collaborated the Murcian architects Pedro Cerdán Fuentes and Eduardo Giménez Casalins. The museum was expanded in 1979 by architect Pedro San Martín Moro and the main facade of Riquelme Palace (demolished in 1968) was moved to the Salzillo Museum.

Could you explain the Salzillo Museum story ?
Who was the architect José Tames !
Okay, I'll try to make a small synopsis in coming hours.
José Tamés Alarcón was an important Spanish architect during the postwar years. For many years, the architect José Tamés leadered the Instituto Nacional de Colonización (INC) in Madrid, where he worked with architects as relevant as Jose Luis Fernández del Amo. Later took a number of projects to restore large historic monuments, especially cathedrals. In the 50's, he designed and developed the process of restoration and conservation of the Murcia and Lorca cathedrals.
