    Yes indeed.

The polychrome sculpture of Santa Clara belonged to the Capuchin Nuns Convent and was saved from destruction of the church building on July 22nd, 1936. The sculpture carved of San Jerónimo Penitente arrived to Provincial Museum from San Andres Church, where it had been moved from Jerónimos Convent (Guadalupe) on the occasion of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Murcia in 1862.

It managed to save three carved sculptures by Salzillo in El Carmen Church: Inmaculate Virgin, San Joaquin and Santa Ana,... although the three sculptures were mutilated...

Since November 1936, the ancient San Antolín Neighborhood was considered a unclerical area. The local authorities decided change the name of the neighborhood, became known as "Barrio Largo Caballero" during the Spanish Civil War. The religious street names were banned and changed. This image published in "Nuestra Lucha" shows the ceremony held by local Communist leaders in late 1936 in which the former Trinidad Street was changed to Tomás López.

The Tuberculosis Sanatorium was designed by architect Francisco Bergamín (Health Ministry) and completed in 1935. The construction stage was led by Provincial architect Pedro Cerdán Martínez.
