DESCRIPTION

... There are few occasions that in private housing to propose collective volumes than those envisaged in the plan at the expense of accepting by the developer to reduce the volume to construction.

... In these houses in Cartagena did well. There were two reasons: the proximity of the house protected, the right oldest modernist building "forced" to negotiate some kind of agreement. And the discontent of the City Council with regard to the height of 8-story actually advocated finding a solution more reasonable and structurally more complex. It was proposed to work on a volume game at one of five floors and another three.

... The volumes of the past three floors are strongly returned inwards with regard respect of the volume that make up the top five floors, so that originates from a cornice line height to more logical and consistent with the building.

... The house is shown "behind" the structure, as half of distance symbols and languages of different times and that have little to do both. The top three floors lined and polished granite, creating his own geometry from its own program. The balconies of the floors seven and eight, recovered the front lines of the main body.

... The interior work was done so that there would be no retiring at the front for it to be understood as an element that runs around the perimeter to build a string of terraces that are as large indoor-outdoor looming and the other interiors that surround them.

... The intervention has sought to highlight the historical values of the building, but in no case has opted for a style intervention as Viollet le Duc, making clear the difference between new and original.

... The ground floor called for the need to study the entrance to the building, settled with a cubic box made of glass (walls and roof) which houses a restored contrapuerta modernist style, art nouveau. That cash is used to solve the old problem in architecture "interior - exterior" would read as Giedion. In this case it was announced about the name of the building, with a vinyl adhesive material, referring to a position of fragmentation very typical of the late French and Japanese Modernity: Cartier Foundation for Jean Nouvel or great stores of Kazuyo Sejima.

... The second floor has built a hall furnished to the size of the building, which had seemed appropriate to have a museum, in order to present the works of art. The most striking is the scenario that is resolved with a cylinder - DM lacquered wood color maroon - virtually single, defining spaces, with no compartments: with only one element generates the assembly room and a lounge after, type dressing room.

DESCRIPTION

... Polaris Atalayas Business Center has been designed with a contemporary design especially noticeable in the spectacular double-skin facade ventilated pioneer in Spain. The leather interior is a triple glass chamber and the outer skin, separated about 90 cm from the interior by a walkway, is made of laminated glass with a soft green tone that determines the final appearance of the building. In addition to giving it a unique aesthetic, this double skin provides an important climate control and sound to each of the offices.

... Polaris Atalayas Business Center consists of ground floor, divided into 2 low commercial, and 13 story, resulting in 52 offices. The tested configuration of each of its plants allows adaptation of any company, regardless of their size or activity, since they are scattered in offices of different sizes from 60 sq. m. to floor entirely clear, that support a simple internal modulation.

... It is located at Avenida Primero de Mayo, next to what will be the City of Knowledge and the City of Justice in a strategic location of the first level. It also has advanced security systems and a large endowment for parking garage.

... It is about creating a building thought to enjoy our free time in today's society is increasingly marginalized. A central section of the building, where they are located LOFTS spaces that are clear to be covered by its users, with finishes of first level and closed by a large exterior glass curtain wall that allows great views of the city of Murcia, for being the building located in the north along the shopping complex's Thader.

Until today, education is spread by part-time schools that offer classes and practice during weekends and which do not meet the strict standards recommended by the International Society of Osteopathy (SIO).

The creation of the European School of Osteopathy (EEO) responds to the continuing and growing demand for qualified osteopaths can justify the best accredited at the international level, and ensure the best treatment to their patients. Thus, for the first time in Spain this Osteopathic Medicine School gives a full education by international standards of the SIO, with a high studies of 6 years full time, for professionals of tomorrow have in their hands not only competition for this vital profession but also the official title and legally recognized nationally and internationally.

1. POLYCLINIC WITH SURGICAL UNITS: This is the essential part of the program on its surface. It occupies part of all story in the project. Access to south side of the building.
2. SCHOOL OSTEOPATHY: Program located in the northern part of the ground floor, first and second floor building. Access on the north side of the building.
3. CLINIC FOR OSTEPATHY: Located on a single plant, on the ground floor. Access on the north side of the building next to the access to the School of Osteopathy.

This is a sports complex owned by the Municipality of Murcia built with a total area of 26,168 m2, comprising sports pavilion indoor, heated swimming pool with dimensions of 25x16.67 m, gym, fitness center, two circuits of relaxation, paddle club formed by 8 tracks, 1,331 m2 for dressing rooms and toilets, 546 m2 for multiple use, sun terrace, cafe, restaurant.

... The complex also has facilities for the local police with an area of 500 m2 (new Police Station of La Flota quarter) and 613 underground parking spaces. The final budget of the complex has to € 15.8 Mil and was inaugurated the auctum of 2006.

The center's goal is to offer specialized assistance with high-tech medical resources both for diagnosis and for treatment. Thus, the assistance will have an outpatient and Day Hospital.

... The facilities of the existing social R.C.R.C. were handed over by the Port Authority of Cartagena in August 1999, being an administrative concession until December 16 of 2022. It is situated in the dock of Alfonso XII east of Marina and Yacht after the Port.

This building is the work of the team of architects trained by Luis Clavel, Enrique Nieto, Fernando de Retes and Miguel Angel Valverde, whose project won the contest in 1997 called for the equipment in the Marina. The most noteworthy aspects of the construction of the building are transparency and large terrace terrace projeted over the sea.

... The plot is located at the corner in the industrial area of Cabecicos Blancos, Librilla (Murcia). This is a project in which the most important thing, in addition to obtaining maximum use, is the functionality and image. The strategic placement of the structure ensures flexibility in the distribution of offices in each of the 5-story. So, each user can purchase one or more units according to their needs and unified into one.

... As for the main facade, it has opted for a technological and creative image materialized paneled floor-ceiling glass alternating with the opacity. However, to the rear facade has been chosen without closing a glass curtain wall to accommodate all the necessary facilities of the building.

... Culture and society have always maintained a reciprocity that has enabled the evolution of both. From this premise part the architect to make a play that goes beyond mere architectural object.

It has tried to flee from the traditional use of theater with a building to set uniform clever programming to theatrical, musical, narrative, on the one hand aware of the boundaries between the profoundly inaccurate various cultural events and contemporary expressions of each current formal of them, increasingly open. The design of the building as such, and settlement of its various spaces has wanted to respond to this complex picture, nobody has inconvenience to call theather but we are aware that it is more than just a theater. Its configuration allows large shows, theater and experimental theater in small format, concerts of symphonic music, choral, instrumental or chamber; small opera and operetta; coffee concert, music or informal presentations or any other cultural event.

In that regard have been deployed all the resources it provides the architecture to makes open space to the outside world, demonstrate that the activity is generated in the interior, they were able to conjure up relations with the surrounding environment, which extended its scope over the square, these resources that suggest a concept rooted cultural, contextualized, transparent, that has to do with the reality of people and their interests outside the secrecy of an abstract discipline. With this concern has been designed as open and welcoming of the large outdoor space access, which seek to open up and embrace the world in that gesture, the solution of the glazed reception areas typically more rhetorical, the possibility of having a reference from the outside of the theaters and vice versa, the demonstration outside the volume of the room shows.

DESCRIPTION

... The auditorium represents the centerpiece of the program. The dimensions of its scenic spaces are enough to dance, theater, concerts, conferences.

... The image is left to comb the auditorium, which passes through the cover and makes great showcase of Moratalla. The rest of the program is reflected in the large deck, which is on the cornice height of the pools of sports. These elements of the program that are not the auditorium, is compressed not to compete with the image of the comb. In this way the building is reduced almost to two important elements: auditorium and deck.

... The cover is variable adjusts to the contours that are around them. The contact is the most important sports equipment that is behind it. The relationship between the two facilities will produce a flush of soil, forming a square useful for different uses. This is where the tracks were relocated sports and generates a large stage area, separated by the comb from the audience.

... At this point the city can and should stop being city to begin to be landscape, the city at its edges should be merged with the territory, must take precedence as a contemporary concept of environmental and natural. At some point, and this may be the appropriate, architecture should begin to be anything other than the building, the prism as a clear expression of dominance and sovereignty, to begin to be humble and respectful of the landscape.
