    Default SkyriseCities.com

The urbantoronto.ca team have built a new world site. The site combines news stories, project/city/company databases and a forum. Please check it out.

    News
    http://skyrisecities.com/

Here's the New York city page
    http://skyrisecities.com/database/cities/new-york

A sample New York project database
    http://skyrisecities.com/database/pr.../1205-broadway

    The New York forum
    http://skyrisecities.com/forum/forum...york-city.828/

And the "Buildings" section of the New York forum.
    http://skyrisecities.com/forum/forums/buildings.829/

We currently have 282 cities included on the site with about 3000 projects in our project database. The site just launched so the forum is pretty much empty outside of the Toronto sections. I hope some of the fine forum members here will be able to help populate the site. And as a bonus we will moderate threads and ensure information is properly updated. I would love to hear your thoughts.

There is too many sites covering the same topic... I can't see this site doing to well , SSC is growing rapidly once again , has an App , and is overhauling the North American section... New York YIMBY has a forum but it hasn't do all that well mainly do to SSC/SSP... New York YIMBY also gathers News for NYC region...so I highly doubt you could put a dent into that...

    Thanks for the comments.

Our site has editorial, a project, city and company database AND a forum fully integrated together. We are mobile friendly and you can upload photos directly from your phone without using another site. And so forth. Different animal from ssc and ssp.

We can revisit this in a year!

I see you in the database but it says "awaiting email confirmation". Did you not get an email from us?

But SSC has all of that or is planning on having it. I believe blog integration is next for SSC...and possibly diagrams... The sheer size of those 2 sites kills any competition.... With the exception of the Chinese site that has become popular but that was due to censorship of SSC. But I wish you luck...
