    Hardly nice but an improvement over the garbage that was there. Look at the garbage on either side of this.

    My only complaint has to do with that lot line brick wall: that crumbling, jagged and sloppily patched brick wall looks awful. I hope that is only temporary: but probably will be there indefinitely.

    Also, will someone explain the the zoning or space planning calculations that result in this type of set-back from the street wall. I would think they are loosing a lot of hotel room space on the upper floors: but there is surely some zoning/planning trick here that maximizes the profitability of the building.
