Thread: Water Architecture

  1. #1

    Default Water Architecture

I decided to start a thread based on buildings related to water. Any building on a waterfront, river, related to water, to ships, sailing anything related to water Id love if anyone could post images here.

    To begin:

    Danish Maritime Museum

    Abu Dhabi Maritime Museum

    Glasgow Museum of Transport

    Renzo Piano

Progress on this Zaha Hadid building as at November 2009.

They are now applying the cladding.

I am looking for information about New York Aquarium. This was the winner project of the international competition in 2006, designed by WRT + Cloud9 Architecture (the last is an architecture studio in Barcelona). Does anyone know anything about how this project going? I want to publish it on a Russian forum in which I write sometimes. Thanks.
