Default Moving a band of 7 to New York next year. Can anyone help?

My name's Jenny and am planning on relocating with our band next year to New York. The trouble is we quite literally have no idea how to go about it. We want to share rented accomodation as a band and will also need jobs and most importantly contacts for gigs. If anyone can help in any way we would be so grateful!!!!
    Thanks!!!

The Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn has the hottest music scene in the city and, arguably, the country.
