Yea, I got two in the upper deck. Went to the game on Friday. We just got back last night at 11:00. Needless to say it was one of the best things about my trip. If only A-Rod could have hit it one day earlier. Oh well. One can wish.
nyc.dreamin, were you able to finally find tickets for that Royals game?

Yup!
Me, too!
5 back and coming in fast.![]()
Let's go Yankees! *clap, clap, clap, clap, clap*
(And we're right in the thick of things in the wild card)
Wild card yes, catching the sox not.
It is entirely possible to catch them. Teams have come from further back and much later in the season than this.
If I remember correctly (forgot the exact year), the Phillies once was ahead by 7 games with 7 games left to play and managed to lose the lead on the last game of the season.
Only 5 back again. Joba looking like the real thing. Hughes is impressive. Everything's looking up for the Yanks.
The same can't be said for the Red Sox. Morale is down in Beantown. Gagne just blew a lead for them and Okajima just got beat by the Orioles.![]()
Finally, someone beat Okajima. He has been unhitable(sp?). And what do you know its the hometown Orioles.
I definitely think we can catch the Sox. Its like 1978 all over again.![]()
OMG, the Red Sox implosion continues!
Okajima and Gagne combined again to blow a lead and now Kevin Millar, a former RS no less, hits a walkoff homer to win it for the O's.
4 back and closing in. Folks up north are feeling quite uneasy right now.![]()
Ha Ha!!! The Red Sox are starting to feel the pressure...

Day Game. Especially if it is your first time. It still is the BRONX!!
For anyone reading this thread in the future, don't listen to Dornbirn's nonsense about the Bronx. You'll be perfectly safe at either a day or night game. The only person looking to rob you is George Steinbrenner.
