What I got:

Looking for something fun to do this weekend with the kids? This Saturday, July 18, is the second "City of Water Day," a free festival on Governors Island organized by the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance.
A free ferry is departing from the Hoboken North terminal (14th Street and the Hudson River) at 10 a.m. on Saturday and arriving at the City of Water Day festival on Governors Island at 11 a.m.
Once on the island, there will be food vendors, a line-up of local bands, special children's activities, like the fishing, arts and crafts, rides, and a Kids Race sponsored New York Road Runners and the Waterfront Action Fair, where you can learn how to do your part for the New York City waterfront.
There will also be free Governors Island nature walk conducted by the Audubon Society and harbor critter touch tanks for children. (All of the boat tours for the festival are already booked.)
