Is this beautiful building by the Inns of Court?

I believe so. It is just a little east of the Temple station on the underground. This building and it's surroundings are stunning.
The Inns of Court are split into 'four'; Inner Temple, Middle Temple, Gray's Inn and Lincoln's Inn. The first two are located beside each other on the north bank of the Thames, progressing in a northerly direction Lincoln's Inn is adjacent to Lincoln's Inn Fields which is inbetween Kingsway and Chancery Lane. Gray's Inn is further to the north, bordered by High Holborn and Gray's Inn Road.
The picture is taken looking north up Middle Temple Lane, immediately behind is Victoria Embankment (and River Thames). If you head north up Middle Temple Lane you come to Fleet Street, immediately opposite of which is the neo-gothic orgasm of the Royal Courts of Justice.
Templar Church (ie Knights Templar) is tucked down Inner Temple Lane which is to the west of Middle Temple Lane.
Heading north again up Chancery Lane, and on the right, you come across the Maughan Library (main library for King's College London) which has a magnificant exterior and amazing modern interior.
Not sure if many people actually venture inside, but the Royal Exchange building is an excellent place to eat. Many a time have I tried to image what the trading floor resembled in a past gone by.
