    I am currently reading this book. I haven't read too much yet although from what I can tell so far it is an excellent book. It is recommended by many people. It is also very comprehensive.

    I read the review for that book in The FT. It looks like a great paean to the world's top city!

    PS: Dr. Johnson would have loved this English muffin!
