It's funny ...if ol' Tiger were European and this story broke over here, he'd suddenly find himself with twice as many advertising contracts.

Fox knows what's best for Tiger ...

    Brit Hume: Convert, Tiger!

    The Daily Dish
    January 3, 2010

    VID: Faith-Based Adultery

An on-air message to Tiger Woods:

"The extent to which he can recover seems to me depends on his faith. He is said to be a Buddhist. I don't think that faith offers the kind of forgiveness and redemption that is offered by the Christian faith. My message to Tiger would, 'Tiger, turn to the Christian faith and you can make a total recovery and be a great example to the world."
The pure sectarianism of this comment - its adoption of the once-secular stage of political journalism to insert a call for apostasy - is striking. It even seemed to catch Bill Kristol off-guard a little. But it has long been established that non-evangelical Christians have at best an auxiliary role in today's religiously defined GOP, and the slow morphing of Fox News into the 700 Club is not exactly new. What earthly reason do these pundits now have to prevent or stop it? Once you have abolished the distinction between secular and religious discourse, as they routinely insist on doing, their politics is their religion and their religion is their politics. And both are corrupted.

This entire Tiger Woods matter is the biggest non-story of the year. Complete news-zak and a waste of airtime and print!

It's a big business story. Anything that causes a specific industry to lose half of its earning power (and possibly more) is newsworthy.

What's the official count of Tiger's women?

He's got a long way to go to Wilt Chamberlain, or even Warren Beatty. He should just concentrate on the Nicklaus majors record.

Brings up another issue. Now that the lid has been blown off golf as dignified and refined, maybe they should loosen up on gallery behavior. I mean, what's this crap about keeping quiet?

At least they should allow signs. I'd pay money to see something like this while Tiger is putting.

I think Tiger will be featured in Vanity Fair Magazine soon.

Lofter1, don't you mean Tiger turned Cheetah Unleashed? Ha!

This case seems all to powefully familiar with and similar to the ones involving Magic Johnson, Bill Clinton, OJ Simpson, Kobe Bryant, and now Charlie Sheen.

From the expression on his face, he doesn't look none too enthused or happy either (Daquan13 sticks out tongue).

And also, what's with the hat?
