Should the name of this thread now be changed to, "Amanda Knox gets 28.5 Years"?

Or, "Italy's Neverending Travesty of Justice?"

    What a sham.

Total seesaw farce = reasonable doubt; ergo, give it up and move on. If they didn't get it right the first time, they never will.

    Pre-ordained.

    Salvare la faccia.

Of course. It was a three way. With Rudy doing the dirtiest deed, Raffaele ogling from the sidelines and Amanda getting her revenge over the money or laundry (or whatever).

Just because you don't like or agree with the verdict there is no reason to ridicule the court. I happen to believe that Amanda Knox and her boyfriend were implicated - just my hunch, no more. The halo that the US media have placed over St. Amanda's head is somewhat tarnished in my view.

OK, so your "hunch" carries the day

Proof might be more helpful when deciding the fate of those prosecuted by the government.

Well, there are lots of other reasons for the ridicule.

If you think that the US media has had any significant influence, then you don't understand the level of media saturation in the US. Knox has not been big news here except in brief spurts. And a lot of it has been negative.

    How about in the UK?

More importantly. This hair cut does not work for me.

The Amanda Knox thread is being revived?

    Pass the popcorn, please.

I didn't say that, please don't try to imply something that isn't there. My views are my views - as I said.

It's your word, apparently typed by your hand -- I didn't make it up [am I detecting similar word play as is found among the Italian magistrates?] ...
