    Chicago has the 2nd biggest skyline in USA and it doesn't even compare to this narrow section of ours. NYC is amazing!

    I just received this note for upcoming work this weekend:

    • Install of rebar on 6th floor south west and 3rd floor east.
    • Installation of tower crane on 58th Street. 58th Street will be shut down for this installation.

    What's the huge, old, ugly, hulking monstrosity on the block immediate to the north of this? And is there any chance it will be torn down and divided into multiple parcels, maybe with a mid-block passage connecting this to Riverside Center?
