Yeah, I think it looks great. From the inside, however, the window angles will be less than ideal

    Good news.

The topping out wasn't the top of the building, just the top floor.

I don't know what these cleats are all about. It's hard to tell, but it looks like the panels are the finished product.

Could the cleats be for funneling rain and or snow ?

If that's the case, then they'll act somewhat like the Plinko board on The Price is Right.

This one is really delivering on what was promised in the project renderings: this building is looking every bit as good in the flesh as it did in the renderings - and that is even before the façade is complete....

To build an enduring reputation for excellence, I say: under promise - and over deliver.

See Bjarke's 57th Street Tetrahedron In All Of Its Peaked Glory

February 9, 2015, by Zoe Rosenberg

    All images via Field Condition.

Not only is Bjarke Ingels' impressive West Side tetrahedron now topped-out but it has gained its peak too, meaning 625 West 57th Street now stands in all of its 450 feet of angular glory. Field Condition recently visited the site to find that the tetrahedron has also started to get its windows, which make the impressively-shaped thing look a little less like a shark tooth and more like, well, a building. When complete in late 2015 or early 2016, the Durst Organization-developed structure will be home to 709 of the city's jazziest rentals.
