^ I'm using Firefox and that message comes up too. Never happened prior to the latest forum changes. Something to do with Javascript??

    Testing this now.

It happens only after I post and then go back. I think it has to do with the Auto Save feature. The browser back-button takes you to a cached page stored in your computer's tempy file. the VB software sees the action as leaving the page before completing your post.

    Not 100% sure of this.

This happened to me today, but I wasn't posting anything. Can't remember the exact sequence of events, but I think I went to the last page of a thread, needed to go back a page or two to follow the convo and then pressed back a couple more times attempting to return to the main forum page (easier just to click on Community).

If I need to check other pages in a thread while posting a reply I find it much better to open the pages in a new window.

I've noticed that there's now a bug-gish thing regarding the indent feature. It used to be that spacing was pretty good following or preceding an indent, but now it's wonky and either too much space or too little space, before and after, seems to be the default.

Is it just me, or have all the formatting controls disappeared in Go Advanced view?

I don't know, but the spellcheck still does not want to start on Explorer (6?). It works on Google and some others though, and when I click the button, it moves the cursor to the first character on the edit box, so something is happening.

Also, going "back" keeps asking me if I want to leave an area where something has changed (in the edit box).

I THINK this is because every time I hit back, it automatically highlights the edit box. Clicking the page outside before hitting back again SEEMS to stop this from happening, but it is still strange that it happens whenever I hit "back" twice to get from my recent post to the root of the sorum subdirectory.

At the moment, it doesn't appear possible to post anything that's legible using Go Advanced, so I hope it's resolved soon.

Can't seem to edit posts at all now, either. See this post http://wirednewyork.com/forum/showth...l=1#post368571. Couldn't edit to fix the formatting. Clicking on Edit Post did nothing.

I don't see either of those problems.

    It may be version....

Merry, what browser you using? Is this the same with Firefox, Opera or Chrome?

Also, request (if possible). Auto spellcheck seems to work on Google Mail (and chat). Is there any way to activate that on here to spare us the spellcheck at the end?

It's working in IE9 but not in Firefox 3.6.18, which I use by default (I won't be upgrading to 5 until add-ons I use are compatible).

It was working perfectly in Firefox before yesterday and nothing has changed (AFAIK), so I don't understand why it's not working now. Damn.

PS I really, really, really hate IE9 .

A few add-ons, like Google Toolbar, didn't function with F5.0.

    Before I uninstalled, I found this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...orter/?src=api

It's used to test beta releases, but it also enables incompatible add-ons. Works fine for me.

    ^ Thanks very much, Zippy.

Took the plunge and upgraded to Firefox 5 and it's all hunky dory .
