One came out overnight and that one you saw was going back in. The rock breaking is tough on the equipment, that machine needed a full overhaul.

So this is going down to the same depth as the WTC bathtub.

I have a ton of pictures to go through, but here's a preview. This was on Tuesday evening. I'm guessing you were driving, IrishInNYC?

Also, I think I was there right after 325ccr. What room were you in, bud? I stayed at the World View for one night and the view was almost identical. I still prefer the Hilton, though.

We are 30' below the bottom of the West St slurry wall; in solid rock.

^^^ I had a ton of fun watching you guys tear stuff out of the ground. I saw a bunch of old pipe, and then BAM, the guy dug what looked like an old Jersey barrier out of the ground.

I was in the 15th floor on the 30th - 1st had a suite so had a corner room. Tuesday of this week, I stayed at the Hilton for the big 113t lift

We have so far removed 22,000+ tons of material from Phase 2 and have reached 30 feet below street level over much of the site. We begin taking out the lowest level of the old DB basement slab soon also. We are also watertight at this point and so a rapid drop in elevation will be seen over the next month.
In Phase 1, on the west side, we have already poured some slabs in the mechanical rooms and are currently fabricating wall steel etc. Huge volume of water is leaking through the West St slurry wall hampering our efforts.

Looks like there is nothing but clay and water down there.
