Vehicle Security Center (VSC) at World Trade Center
I guess im the first to post this?? Well since im digging it out right now i guess it gives me the right!!! Lots of activity going on here now, Im loading over 200 trucks a day, tiebacks are being drilled thru the temp slurry wall next to the disaster bank and so on.... Sal post some pics!!!!!

200 trucks full of material removed a day? wow.. keep the updates coming!! how deep is the hole?

The first cut is limited to around 20 feet because 200 tiebacks and shoring whalers have to be installed to support the slurry wall.

Even the dump trucks have to look good.
Is the demising wall in this part of the VSC or is it in the Deutsche Bank area?

It's what separates the two. If Deutsche Bank was down when it was supposed to be there would have been no need for the demising wall.

I was standing on the Memorial today observing CAT235D excavating the VSC today - another productive day, nice job! Ever come across anything interesting down there, CAT?

Yes in fact the other day i dug up a 2ft dia log about 15 ft long that was used as a water pipe, it had wooden taps too, they quicky had me load it onto a small truck and it was taken somewhere to be cleaned and carbon dated.
