    Default Tokyo Tower 1958.

I visited it in June and it's still the most beautiful structure in all of Japan.'

The tower is definately an excellent example of how to light a highrise structure, it will be interesting to see whether they can replicate it for the even taller 634m Sky Tree which is near to being completed.

A photo I took about a year and half ago:

The lighting is excellent, the tower itself is okay at best. Basically a poor copy of the Eiffel Tower, with a hideous structure underneath. But that doesn't matter, Tokyo isn't Paris, it fits in perfectly and is an iconic part of the city skyline.

The view from the observation platform is great, although I do prefer the Mori Tower. Not only because there's an open-air observation platform, but also because you can see the Tokyo Tower perfectly from there...

    YES AMIGOS

It is not the best looking during the day up close but its good from a distance and a beauty during night.

Look at this movie about Tokyo Tower and tell me it's not beautiful! OH AMIGOS I CRIED TOO HARD MORE THAN OPERA MAKES ME CRY!

Also there are No Earthquakes in Paris. So it's no copy amigo!
