Question about Bush.
I have not been able to find this, or the proper term for this, online.
GWB was the President that holds a record for number of times doing somthing in his power that was seen as an iveruse and abuse.
I do not know if it was riders, line item veto's or what it was, but I remember the number being more than ALL previous presidents before him combined. Something over 700?
For the life of me I cannot remember what this was and without the proper term, Google is useless.
Any clue?

GWB signed 291 Federal Executive Orders
But given the number you cite it seems you're referring to "Signing Statements" -- of which GWB issued over 750. That was a huge uptick over the numbers issued by his predecessors and his increased signings coincided with the arrival of Samuel Alito at SCOTUS.
