    The Federation Tower is the first project in Russia to utilize super high-strength concrete technology which can suffer much higher temperatures for much longer time, there's absolutely no cause to fear the building would collapse. The Potok8 construction contractor company said in an e-mailed statement: “The building frame itself wasn’t damaged by the fire".

    They know very well what's the problem on Federation Tower project today...

    Federation Tower. Work on a sliding formwork.
    Sophisticated work on a sliding formwork continues. Every day added to the skill and the high probability that this will leave the formwork. This decision will affect today's excavation. But problems still remain, it is very difficult to sum up the valve to its knitting, the weather, though still soft, but there are problems with the heating. In AMJ Group work is more sweeter than the previous contractor (MEA). At the site there was a Tajik from the MEA, there are now working guys who really know what to work, but consistency is still not enough. But progress in the face! Turner and "Swede" constantly monitoring the works, so that everything is under control.

    It could be stopped the construction process around 2 or 3 month.

    I will share with you a video of restricted character that has been recorded by our staff company inside the East Tower a few weeks ago for testing inside the core with an elevator that goes up to floor 61

    Very interesting video!
    ---------

    Brutal el vídeo en cuanto a las condiciones de trabajo en obra! Lo de hormigonar a esas temperaturas llevará unos problemas importantes, no? en otro de estos videos se ve cómo protegen los pilares después de hormigonar, a parte de proteger todo lo que se pueda a posteriori, y supongo que usar todos los aditivos anticongelantes que la mezcla lo permita, para bombear ese hormigón también habrá que llevar muchas precauciones, como lo haceis? calefactais la tubería de bombeo? Y esos forjados van postesados? parecen luces importantes, y para un edificio de ese tipo no parece raro hacerlo, el frío afecta de alguna forma si es que son postesados?

    True...
    Column= 800 mm - B90 concrete grade
    Floor= 350 mm - B65 concrete grade
    Steel = A500
    --------
    Se usan postesados en las forjados y calefactores en la bomba de vertido en invierno, tal como comentas, aunq en realidad es bastante infrecuente pq desde 15 nov hasta 15 febrero se para el trabajo de encofrado. Fuera de esas fechas las temperaturas no son tan bajas como la gente cree y en verano superan a veces los 40 grados. Este invierno fue excepcional pq fue el + cálido en 80 anos y por eso se decidió trabajar arriba para recortar plazos, pero es inusual. Luego vino la ola de frío polar en febrero y surgieron los problemas comentados. No se debió trabajar arriba, se sobrepasaban los limites de seguridad impuestos como ha reconocido el informe administrativo.

    So, between those months, the construction keep going?
    --------
    Supongo que la obra seguirá adelante, son muchos meses para perder, se avanza con el resto de tajos? albañilería, instalaciones, etc... Vaya con los cambios drásticos de temperatura que tenéis por allí!
