Oh I meant on an apartment and running the service, not partaking in it. We'd be a business, man, not a businessman as it were.

The only comment anyone can make here is, of course, that it is rather unfortunate that this germ is rising while Tower Verre is not.

    Your basic International-style slab.

I actually think it's better than museum tower across the street. I'm also interested to see the texturing on the lot wall go up. It's a place they could have just left blank (like so many of these towers do!), but instead it looks to have been treated well. Only time will tell.

Gosh, it's all happening so fast. Especially after the base. I'm not sure anyone will ever see this building from anywhere based on the height and location, but man, things are getting built so fast. I bet that Norman Foster over by the UN is like 20 stories already. Itll be visible from Queens I suppose.

Totally off topic (which seems more ok here than some other forums), when does the market heat up enough that we can build our own skyscraper together? I mean, if the guys who built One Madison Square Park could do it with gum, matchsticks, and a dream, why not us?

Is this the first time they have cross bred a consumer product with a residential property?

There almost HAS to be a few in Dubai. Denver, CO has a Manhattan Tower, clearly capitalizing on OUR consumer product, wink wink nudge nudge. I can't think of a current one in NYC, but everything old in new again, so there must have been some resourceful land baron who tried it in the thirties with Dr. McGuillicuddy's smelling salts cooperative apartments or something.

I almost didn't post this, but I guess it's a week newer than the photo above.

While I don't despise this as much as CIM's concrete Commie block, I do hate this. What a waste of a prime space.
