Default Where can I get fiddleheads?

No luck at Whole Foods Time Warner Center, although this should be the weekend for them.

Mr front_porch is going to try the Union Sq. Greenmarket today -- but has anyone seen them there? Or at Eataly? any thoughts?

    TIA

I'd say Union Square would have them.

The nice guy at Berried Treasure at the Columbus greenmarket said they should be in in two weeks ... he has ramps already, and he said the fiddleheads lag by a little bit.

As far as cooking, I've never made them -- but I found a good-looking recipe online for pan-fried gnocchi with morels and fiddleheads, and I got inspired...

In Malaysia they call them Pucuk Paku ...

One way to serve them up:

(on second look, I think these are something else)
