Default Photos of World Trade Center during construction 1967-71

I live & work in S. Florida and my company FPL is going to build a new Power Plant in Port Everglades. The construction companies showed up to go over preliminary plans and one of the representatives shared his photographs taken during the construction of the WTC. The young worker in the photos is still in the construction business and I thank him for sharing the photos. This is my first post here, I came across site researching mooring mast on Empire State Building. Wow, what a great wealth of information & great photos thanks to all who post here.

You are welcome, glad I was able to contribute something to the site. My parents took me on a August '69 trip to NY and I did the circle cruise. At that time the towers, if I remember correctly were about 2/3 complete. I also took several photos which are stashed away, if I come across I'll post them.

These are amazing photos! I hope you find the others stashed away as they really are historic... thanks for sharing!

And when these were built there wasn't much tall surrounding it so they were like super-daggers in the sky. Awesome.

Not a photo, but a great video of the originals. No voice, just dramatic instrumental music. Great shot towards 3:00 of the Statue of Liberty at sunset, and the video closes with the sun setting behind the twins, leaving them in silhouette.
