    Much like those Bluetooth things anyone who actually wears one of these will look like a complete idiot.

    Until they become a mainstay.

    I think a rear projected HUD on glasses/sunglasses would work better, although focus at that distance would be difficult.

    When people first started using earbuds and other hands-free devices to talk on cells, I thought there was an explosion of crazy people walking around talking to themselves.

    Just a matter of time.

    Then someone will figure out a way to make implants...and off we go.

    Actually, there are working prototypes of contact lenses that can display dynamic pixels:



    Soon they'll figure out how to produce self-powered full blown streaming content. That's close enough to an implant right there

    It is the next step of evolution.

    The problem is, with things like electronics, I would hate to be the one with obsolete hardware......


    (Although, Zip, this is more like Geordi than Borg.....)

    And then sues the bank and the MFR because they trip on an uneven tile in the entryway while running out and checking traffic at the same time......
