101 Park Avenue is a 629-foot (192 m) tall skyscraper in New York City, New York. It was completed in 1979 to 1982 and has 49 floors. Eli Attia Architects designed the building, which is the 64th tallest in New York.

It was used as the facade of the fictional "Pemrose building" in the 1987 film The Secret of My Success, as well as the fictional "Clamp Tower" in the 1990 film Gremlins 2. The building is shown as the site of George Costanza's office in an episode of Seinfeld, as well as Dudley Moore's character's office in the film Crazy People. The tower's plan is rotated at 45° angle from the block geometry to strike its presence on the only truly visible from Park Avenue and therefore prominent corner at 40th Street. Two corners of the rectangular plan were cut off and then added to the remaining corners, bringing the composition back to the block grid at creating alignments at the street with the base.

An intresting result of the original plan configuration are two corner offices per floor offering as wide as 315° panoramic views. Two of the three underground levels serve as a carpark. The main side is fronted with a public plaza, providing a link between the exterior and interior of the building as well as an urban breathing space in an area that lacks public open spaces.

101 Park Avenue is considered in real-estate circles to be one of the most lucrative buildings in New York City. Since its completion in 1982 it has been fully occupied, commanding some of the city’s highest rents. There are 22 columns on the perimeter of every typical floor. A 500,000 gallon off-peak chilled cistern, uses power at night in order to cool the tower during daytime, thus lowering energy costs.
