    Slow going.

No doubt due to the horrid weather we've had this winter.
Now that it's warming up, it appears things are moving along at a much quicker pace.
I can see from my windows that they have started pouring concrete at all hours of the day AND night now.

They removed the jib from one of the cranes today?!

scumonkey - your pic in #1791 is awesome

And this building looks so big from Jersey. All of Hudson Yards is going to look great from right across the Hudson.

I think the plan is to take out the crane that's in the core. The new yellow crane replaces it.

Equinox to Open a Gym-Centric Hotel at Hudson Yards

April 21, 2015, by Jeremiah Budin

Upscale gym chain Equinox has announced plans to open at many as 75 fitness-centric hotels around the world, and the first one is going to be located in the Hudson Yards megaproject on Manhattan's West Side. (This makes sense, as the project's developer, Related, acquired Equinox in 2006.) The 60,000-square-foot hotel, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, is expected to open in 2018 and will be followed by a Los Angeles hotel in 2019.

The Hudson Yards location seems like a great spot for the more fitness-oriented traveler, too, as the hotel visitors will probably have to walk everywhere since the 7 train extension is never going to be finished.
