Default Harrison Ford selling his duplex in Park Laurel

    From New York Post

    By BRADEN KEIL

Before Harrison Ford and wife Melissa Mathison finally went their separate ways last August, the couple had bid on a pricey new condo on Central Park West.
The bid was accepted and contracts were drawn up, but the couple's 18-year marriage fell through, as did the deal for the new place.

Now it's for sale again, with an asking price of $16.4 million.

The 5,200-square-foot duplex on the top two floors of the 40-story Park Laurel building at 15 West 63rd Street has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and 360-degree views.

The owner of the apartment, Goldman Sachs exec Bradford Weston, reportedly paid $9.5 million for it in February 2000.

Brokering the property is Dolly Lenz of Insignia Douglas Elliman.

Lenz could not be reached for comment.

Typical apartments in the luxury building, which was completed early last year, feature marble floors and bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances and high-speed computer wiring.

Since the split, Ford has been looking for rentals throughout Manhattan.

His children are already enrolled in schools in the city, while his wife, a screenwriter who wrote hits including "E.T." and "Kundun," is reportedly hankering to return to California, where the couple met in 1976.

Ford's properties also include a large Wyoming ranch, a $6 million mansion in Connecticut, a $3.5 million apartment on the West Side and a nice Gulfstream jet.
