Default Min. Bldg Distance in Chelsea/Manhattan - Distance between b

Given the compact nature of Manhattan, I was wondering if anyone can help me understand what are the regulations regarding the minimum distance between buildings primarily in Chelsea and also where one can find such information?

    Many thanks!

You'll find a lot of fully attached ones... I think nowadays new buildings have to be 6 inches apart due to a seismic code.
