    Hines just sold their 90% stake in the Transbay Tower project in San Francisco. Are they now locked and loaded for Tower Verre?

    All I know is that financing is in place. Construction Management is about to be awarded and they want the foundation in this year. It is a complicated building to build with a safety cocoon included so there is some 'design and build' work going on in that regard prior to awarding superstructure contracts.

    Should be very interesting to watch them assemble this tower, more than 56 Leonard.

    How many storeys would the original 1250' design have boasted? Such a waste to cut it down. There are too many "barely" supertalls in the pipeline and not enough real landmarks...

    DOB certainly shows tons of paperwork. BTW, LL, if this building doesn't come out well, you're not going to jump off it, are you? Please don't.
