    The theater was on 6th Ave. between 43rd and 44th Streets. It was built by the creators of Luna Park and closed in 1939.

    The facade actually incorporated some towers that were relocated from Luna Park. *The performance on opening night was A Yankee Circus On Mars, one of the most extravagant productions in New York. *To this day, the auditorium of the now-demolished Hippodrome was larger than any other theater ever built.
