    Wow. Awesome lil' rebar work. :-) I walk by there several times each day and noticed the same anchoring detail as is in the old bathtub. Thanks for posting the great photos.

    North End Of City Hall Park To Reopen

    NY1
    February 20, 2007

    The north end of City Hall Park, which has been closed since September 11, 2001, is expected to reopen this summer.

    The Daily News reports a new five-foot high perimeter fence will guard the park as a security buffer and security cameras will be added.

    The cost is an estimated $600,000.

    The Manhattan Parks Commissioner says the lawns on either side of the Tweed Building will also reopen in July.

    The Millennium? I stayed there last year. Pretty overrated.
