Now that we are seeing movement above ground, I'm going to be taking a gazillion Freedom Tower photos. Here are the first hundred...

    1. The infant Freedom Tower is already becoming an attraction at the site, as well it should be.

One of the best updates so far. If they're already all over it now, just wait till the southern part of the core jumps up one or two more times, then the tourists will really be all over it. I didn't realize you could see it from so many angles.

Awesome update - All I can think in my head is "Finally!"

    Thx NYGuy!

Clearly a good update, only a matter of time before we see the other 3 towers to begin rising themselves.

Surely they can't do another pour on the south core without jumping the crane, can they?

Nice! Thanks for taking the time to post those shots, NYguy.
The core is beginning to gain visual mass.

Zen, Interesting info on the "key" locations in the core structure. My education continues......

It seems like progress on the memorial pool steel work is stalled??

    Great pics NYguy !

Just a little factoid, the white crane in the forground of pics 23 and 24 are of a Liebherr LTM 1500, it is by far the highest capacity crane (600ton)(see pic) on the WTC site at this time.

Travis, I was thinking the same thing the other day, they must be planing on jumping the south crane this month.

Big pour going down this morning. Looks like they'll be at it for awhile.

I just checked the high-res cam, they are pouring the B3 slab way over on the southeast side. Looks like they've been at it all day.

Zen are you sure this level is not B2,column reinforcement seems to be in place for the final or at grade slab.Plus this slab is above the concourse level.

This is my first post in WiredNY. I am excited to be here and watch the Freedom Tower now under construction. This is some exciting building going up along with the rest of the complex.

Nice photos NYguy. Keep on snapping them until the very end. Nice to see my friend Daquan13 here.

I do have a question regarding the top of the FT. I tried to find information on the makeup of the upper floors but to no success. My question is.....

Is the observatory and restaurant at the same level as the former twins or below? That is are the public view floors above the mechanical floors in the 1300 ft range or below ESB's 102nd floor observatory? Any figures on floor heights or a quick link to this. Much appreciated people.

    Thank you
