I was walking down eighth Ave. yesterday. I was close to the spot where I saw the first hole in the tower and I have to say it's creepy to see the new tower coming up in that spot.

I saw the top half of the tower while driving down here to Philly yesterday.

I honestly think the tower is going very well and im looking foward to seeing the tower complete!
Sad that soome concrete workers are quitting though i hope that the tower gets topped out this year at least because i think this is an amazing tower and 1 day i would like to visit NYC and the New WTC

Someone (Otie) on SSC said that "ISLAND" was probably "propaganda" from the fireproofing company Island International Enterprises.

That seems like the most likely answer.
