Thanks, NYatKNIGHT and Lofter. This will be great. As a long-time downtown resident and employee, I am pleased to see my old area rise up like a phoenix. Hopefully, no more destruction of great old buildings will occur, and hopefully, I will win the lottery so I can afford a $2.5m four bedroom condo down there.

The first post on every page has an annoying ad. Sometimes the ad gets in the way of the post.

    Mellow.

Just kidding. Dang she can play the hell out if it ! ( As if her being totally hot was not enough I taught her how to play guitar, she got rather good at it.)

Blues Rock can express any emotion, loud and clear.

LOOOL! That captured my emotions pretty well!
But now it looks like warm temperatures finally managed to unfreeze EarthCam!! Looking over the Hudson, but still better then nothing!
Low-res cams suggests that they have completed the fourth section of Box Girder. They may probably connect east ends of Plate Girders to both sides of it soon...

There's going to be 8 in total, according to 4Q2010 report by PANYNJ:

    ...
Install First Two Sections of the East Box Girder - Complete

This represented the placement of the first two of eight total sections of this massive steel
girder which will support the MTA’s #1 Subway Line in the underpass area, and allow
pedestrian access between the PATH Hall and WTC Transit Hall.
    ...

P.S. We have 4 sections assembled now, as I understand.
5th and 6th would reach Supercolumns, and remaining two will extend even further?

I wouldn't put too much weight on the section count the PA gave. The box girder ends at the supers.

By my calculations about 70% of the box beam is in place. They are going to have to install some super columns before they can finish the box beam.

Once the box beam is done they can put in the last sections of plate girders then the rest of the arches.

Good Monday morning news: EarthCam finally woke up!
Some new steel is on the site; looks like they are preparing for the next (northern) section of Box Girder!
I wonder if the northwestern Supercolumn is already in place?...

Subway entrances are well defined now:
