    Well look at that...

That pavilion is going to be a jewel. I have never seen columns anything like these.

Support for what? You're not making much sense.

True. I was not making sense. I was making sarcasm, indicating I did not appreciate your snide comment.

So what exactly does this mean?

I guess time will tell if, by some fluke, I am close to being accurate of if my interpretation is nonsense.

I was wondering what they were putting together here earlier, now I see it's tables, and they are having a party!

Anyone know what they are celebrating?

Also they are delivering precast staircase sections to the oculus today.

And I'm still wondering what all those big white slabs/beams are that keep getting delivered and then disappear somewhere, as well as the purpose of those four L-shaped things being embedded in the slab on the south side.

    ^^ Maybe for Labor day??

Talked to my contact at Harris Candem and this is what I got: Koch want's to erect their Favco's but the stairs are being erected and they are behind. Koch's Favco's will go where the sliders are

I believe we will soon know for sure where the new cranes are going to be placed. Tower sections are on trucks on the Church street side of the Hub.

"South side rebar install" ''''''''''''''''' I'll bet the old time phrase "break-a-leg" ; meant as a 'good luck' cheer, does not go over so well with that that type of work. HeeHee

Thanks for the insider photos, IrishInNYC. Any idea when the "wings" (for lack of the technical term) will start going up? Forgive me if this has been answered, but I don't follow the hub as intensely as I do the towers.

Part of a crane base is being delivered on Greenwich St. Hmmmm....

Also they are setting up for a huge deck pour on the north plaza.

The crane base is gone, i don't see that they unloaded it anywhere.

But something else huge just showed up. It looks like a staircase of some sort.

I think this is what I saw being unloaded last night.
You can also see the deck pour on the right side.
