Default Abraj Al Bait - Extreme Clock Tower in Holy City

The surrealism is somewhat mesmerizing. It's officially the world's second tallest building (top floor & observatory @ 1,833 ft, achitecturally 1,972 feet high) and is the world's tallest and largest clock face tower. Located in Mecca, most people will never be allowed to visit as non-Muslims are prohibited to enter the city by law.

I'll never see this building in person... I'm not exactly crying.

It's pretty gaudy, considering in the offseason rooms there go for $300+ and who knows how many hundreds or thousands during the Haaj where the pilgrams are supposed to set aside class distinctions and reflect upon the non-material things
