Thats in the flight path of EWR , you could place them in the Meadowlands of course thats not Newark...

I'm sure you don't mean the main parallel north/south runways. Those are west of the Turnpike/I95. The same goes for the airport.
Then I remembered the diagonal Southwest/northeast runway that crosses the other two at grade. No windmills for Newark,I guess.
Then again,Port Newark Elizabeth seems far enough. Check out the proposed new runway(in blue) and the terminal B demolition. Terminals A and C would also be parcially demolished. Crappy idea.

We wouldn't need all this Airport Expansion if we invested more into our Intercity Rail network....we could also do away with Teterboro and Mac Arthur airports....we should at least focus on getting people from City to City by Rail here in the Dense Northeastern US... Its not like people don't use trains Amtraks seen rapid growth on lines in the NE and Cali divisions...

I love how Kearny whined and complained how a heliport in Newark would cause all kinds of noise pollution...only to build one of their own. Hypocrisy at its best.
