Thats great! Do you know how tall they will be and the type of use?
My understanding is that they are wrapping up teachers village which has gone extremely well and they are in the planning/developing/permit stages with four corners. I think you will see it start at some point next year, hard to say when though.

Yeah...I wouldn't be surprised if the Shaq tower is never constructed at this point.

Does anyone know if there is a renovation or conversion project at Chestnut and McWhorter sts? I passed by there a few days ago and noticed that fencing was recently put up around the brick building. Im not sure if thats to keep people out or if there are plans to redevelop it.

Any idea what's rising along Sussex Avenue by I280? Its on that segment of Sussex Ave called Gould av. The construction seems to be all aluminum frame vs conventional wood 2x4's.

How did they renovate the building? The front of the building looks abandoned and unmaintained

Maybe there will be no entrance on Broad Street and just the one on Atlantic.

    • a 670,000!!!! square foot warehouse in the Ironbound near the garbage incinerator and the Turnpike
    • a Six Story, 166,000 square foot charter school at the corner of Washington and Court Streets across from the old Star-Ledger building.

    Huge news with those.

Also, the Devils will give away 35,000 tickets to Newark residents as part of the Newark 350 celebrations.
NJPAC will celebrate with $3.50 tickets for certain performances.
