Mars Wrigley seeks Grow NJ grant to move to Newark

    https://jerseydigs.com/mars-wrigley-...cago-ironside/

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority approved a 10-year, $31.5 million tax credit to encourage the move, according to Real Estate NJ. Three hundred seventy workers currently in Hackettstown and 113 currently in Chicago would relocate to 110 Edison Place in Newark. The aging warehouse at 110 Edison Place is being redeveloped by Edison Properties and Mars Wrigley would occupy 110,000 square feet there.

Mars Wrigley would kick in $42 million of its own money and sign a 15-year lease at the building

    1. Yes, topped out and cladding starting to be installed.
    2. Looks like foundation and lower level steel is already in.
    3. Not sure, no news I've seen lately. Pretty sure that's an RBH property and think his focus is elsewhere at the moment.
    4. Probably still a plan on paper; they seem to have retained enough square footage in the Gateway complex to eventually vacate that and build the second tower. Doubt it's around the corner though.
    5. No news I've seen since the initial proposal.
