The Mason façade is terra cotta, while the Sterling façade will be grayscale and metallic-looking. The original idea was to sheath Sterling in metal, but that proved too unwieldy, so now the first floor will be cast aluminum and the floors above will be a cement composite or reinforced concrete panels with a metallic finish.

Not what I was expecting. It looks good, but like grey brick. Nothing sterling. Maybe I need to see it in sunlight.

The paired window bays are recessed, so the right edge of the panel should not have an exposed seam. I thought the panels would be two windows wide to avoid seams between them. $$$ I guess.

How do the seams between the windows look?

Well, they're there, but not so obvious as, say, Fiterman Hall. I think that's because the facade isn't flat. Except for the corner, where it's noticeable. You can easily see them in the photo.

1.) Thanks for the multiple spelling corrections!
2.) I actually couldn't see them on my macbook air, but can see them on the computer I am on now. They do look somewhat less noticeable than a building like Fiterman.

Ugh. Totally a typo. It's not my week. We're in the middle of moving.
