    I like these pictures.

Does anyone else have any other night time skyline pictures? (Even if they're of other cities)

What a gorgeous setting for a city, ringing the coast of an island with central mountains as a backdrop. *If only New York were as innovative with floodlights...

Yeah. And we don't have the mountains either.

    The Palisades... eh.

    ...Fresh Kills?

Skyscrapers are best set against the sky. I find the lights rather tacky.

    I was there last month.
The pictures are nothing compared to the reality.
Besides, there are even more skyscrapers now. Even the permanent residents were amazed.

Well, Hong Kong's setting is definitely unique; not every city should have a setting exactly like New York's.

The Hong Kong branch of the law firm I work with is in the Bank of China Tower.

Yeah, but the Palisades are to for north. Where exactly is Fresh Kills?

It's in Staten Islands, near the Gothels Br, where the bodies were burried after 9/11 occured.

Well then, Fresh Kills is to far south.

they're planning to make a huge park at Fresh Kills, the largest in the city. *I hear it's going to be about 55 square miles.

That was Guilianni's pet. *Bloomberg might have different ideas, especially if there's no place to put NYC's trash.

Well, Fresh Kills had been closed for some time before 9/11. *It was only reopened as a place to process recovered human remains from Ground Zero.
